Whether you think you know a bit about Heaton, Newcastle and the North East’s history or you just fancy a night out, the Great Heaton History Quiz is a must. Come to The Corner House, Heaton on Wednesday 26 February. Doors open at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start. You can come with a team, join one when you get there – or have a go on your own. There are cash prizes, spot prizes and raffles.
We will also launch our 2014-5 talks and walks programme and open the first three talks for booking by members. You’ll be able to join or renew your annual membership too – £10 for a minimum of 10 talks and 2 walks.
